The Sleeve Detail You Can’t Ignore on Leaked Germany Home Kit for Euro 2024

Germany are looking to end their 10-year major international trophy drought when they host the Euro 2024 edition later in the summer.

The country had last hosted a major international footballing event back in 2006, when they played host to the 2006 FIFA World Cup and saw their national team come agonizingly close to lifting the trophy.

Well, it appears that Adidas is paying the ultimate tribute to that World Cup campaign in the form of their newest Euro 2024 home kit.

As has almost become a tradition for national teams, they get a brand new kit just for major tournaments like the World Cup and the Euros.

With Germany hosting this grand European event, it’s pivotal to ensure that their national team at least looks the part on the pitch.

As a result, Adidas appear to have created a beautiful home kit for Die Mannschaft that should help them stand out from the rest.

An early leak of the German national team home kit for Euro 2024 shows that Germany will, predictably, be donning a white kit with a gorgeous little design in the tournament.

The plain white shirt has the Adidas logo and the DFB (Deutscher Fussball-Bund) logo both painted in black, but what makes it eye catching are the Adidas stripes around the sleeves region.

The sleeves come in a tricolour-gradient of the German national flag – with the orange and yellow giving it flames of patriotism vibes.

Adidas have created a rather simplistic and minimalistic, yet beautiful kit that can attract a lot of buyers ahead of Euro 2024.

This kit is also strikingly similar to the one that the German national team wore for the 2006 World Cup.

This is in terms of the colour patterns that are similar in both the kits, but there is obviously a change in the design between the two attires.

Adidas were the shirt manufacturers for Die Mannschaft in 2006 as well, so they seem to have just taken inspiration from a previous design.

In the 2006 World Cup kit, the sleeves were coloured in black and the colours of the German national flag were intricately design along the sides of the shirt.

Of course, their national crest had three stars atop of the shirt back then – which has now turned to four this time as a result of them winning their fourth World Cup title in 2014.

The 2024 Euros kit for Germany has impressed a lot of fans, with the leaked attire earning praise for the ‘fire’ sleeve design and how ‘clean’ it looks in general.

There has also been an interesting claim made about how and why Adidas finally created a slick Germany home kit after many years.

There is some belief that with Die Mannschaft struggling to be consistent with their results and suffering multiple bad losses in 2023, this beautiful kit could help reignite the morale of their supporters heading into Euro 2024.

This German national team kit should also be released a few months before the start of Euro 2024, probably around the period of March.

It will reportedly be priced at €140-€150 for the authentic version and around €100 for the replica/fan version.

The Die Mannschaft supporters will probably jump at the opportunity to buy this beautiful kit before Euro 2024, but will hope the team can pop a surprise and make home advantage count in possibly clinching the Euros title later this summer.
