The 19-year-old, who is being tipped as the future ‘heir’ to the left-back spot for the Argentina national team, is also liking the comforts that come with his luxurious lifestyle including a new girlfriend in Yazmin Jaureguy.
The teenager seems to have gotten over the breakup that he announced in September with his childhood sweetheart Agustina Sequeira, who had supported him all through his rise with Boca Junior before rifts started to be created between the two.
That is why upon flying to England to start a new chapter in his career at Brighton, Barco was not accompanied by Agustina and instead with his new love in Yazmin Jaureguy.
Who Is Yazmin Jaureguy?
Yazmin Jaureguy is a 26-year-old Argentine model and influencer who has gained quite some popularity in Argentina with her modelling gigs.
She is speculated to be a Boca Junior fans who clearly caught the attention of Barco after he underwent his breakup and the two have been together for quite a few months now.
Jaureguy gained most of her own fame in Argentina as the ex-girlfriend to Spanish dancer Fernando Bertona, who appeared in the popular Argentine dance show Bailando por un sueño.
Even though Yazmin appears to have now deleted evidence of her ‘love’ for Bertona, she had posted an endearing Valentine’s Day Message for him in 2018 which said: “Happy Valentine’s Day every day to the love of my life.”

Well, fast-forward to six years after that and now the love of her life appears to have changed.
Barco has not yet revealed how he managed to meet Jaureguy, but it could be either on social media or after some Boca Juniors matches as Yazmin does travel to watch matches at La Bombonera.
Jaureguy has not been shy about flaunting her relationship with Argentine football’s next big thing to her 124k followers on Instagram.
Ever since the two made their relationship official towards the end of last year, Yazmin has been determined to show her love and loyalty to the 19-year-old and prove that she isn’t dating him just for the fame itself.
In fact, Yazmin also agreed to travel with him to England as he embarked on the move to Brighton. She even posted a picture of them on the airplane to England and rued how they couldn’t sit next to each other and how worried Barco looked to have been sitting in front of her.
She seems to be fully supportive of the strides that Valentin is making in his football career and when he was recently called up to the Argentina national team for the upcoming March International Fixtures, Yazmin couldn’t hold her delighted and reacted on Instagram: “Crying with happiness. If you knew all the effort behind it, my love is well deserved. Always with you and may the best come, I love you.”
The most recent picture of the two sees them posing in front of New Bond Street in London with their dog, with Yazmin reflecting on her caption ‘The loves of my life.’
Yazmin is currently helping the Argentine star settle into his new career in England after spending his entire life in Argentina and it remains to be seen if this relationship can blossom into something long-term going forward.
