Who Runs Fabrizio Romano’s Social Media Accounts as Transfer Guru Gets Accused of ‘Glazing’ Lamine Yamal

Fabrizio Romano, Lamine Yamal

Fabrizio Romano stands as a towering figure in the world of football transfers. His “Here we go!” declaration a global signal of deal-sealing certainty.

With a following of nearly 32 million on Instagram, 24 million on Facebook, 22 million on X, and a presence across platforms like TikTok and YouTube, Romano’s social media empire is unrivaled.

However, his recent flurry of posts about Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal has ignited controversy.

Fans are accusing Romano of “glazing” the 17-year-old, prompting speculation about who manages his accounts and whether bias is at play.

For people not familiar with latest internet slang, glazing refers to excessively praising someone, often to an uncomfortable or insincere degree.

In Romano’s case, his social media accounts have been of full of Lamine Yamal updates.

The glazing is not just limited to platforms like Facebook, X or Instagram but LinkedIn as well –

When asked about the incessant number of Yamal-themed posts on Instagram, Romano defended himself by praising the Barcelona star even more by replying – ‘bro Lamine did at 16/17 years old what you maybe can do in 10 generations. respect first and then you can talk.

Who’s Behind the Curtain?

Romano has long portrayed himself as a solo operator, managing his social media with a grueling work ethic—up to 16-17 hours daily during transfer windows, as he’s previously claimed.

Yet, the volume and polish of his posts, especially the Yamal-centric ones, suggest assistance.

And the internet detectives think they have figured out who is the man behind the barrage of Yamal posts.

The theory points to Reshad Rahman, a die-hard Barcelona fan who has been providing updates since 2022. Reshad has worked for football brands such as 433 in the past and currently works for Fabrizio Romano since 2024 –

Whether it’s definitely Reshad who is behind the glazing cannot be confirmed yet but it’s certainly weird for a neutral account such as Romano to suddenly develop a Yamal fetish.

For now, Romano’s empire chugs on, with fans watching for the next “Here we go!”—and the next clue about who’s really behind the keyboard. The Lamine Yamal story is just one chapter in a larger narrative about trust, transparency, and the power of a well-timed post.
