EA Sports is rolling out the red carpet for European royalty with a brand new Ultimate Team promotion UCL Primetime Heroes. Set to drop in on Friday November 5, this event celebrates iconic players who delivered unforgettable moments on the biggest stages of UEFA club competitions. Here’s everything we know about the new class of Heroes set to take over Ultimate Team.
This new promotion shifts the focus to players whose careers were defined by their brilliance in the UEFA Champions League (UCL), Europa League, and Women’s Champions League.
Unlike standard Base Heroes, these special edition cards will commemorate a specific Primetime performance or run of form in European competition. Leaks suggest this promo may even replace the popular Road to the Knockouts event from previous years, with some items potentially being live dynamic cards that can upgrade based on their former club’s real world performance in this season’s tournament.
Here is how the boosts will work, if a club scores goals or earns specific points the card would get a boost to their OVR, in the case of Hazard the club would be Chelsea. If the club finishes top 8 in the UCL group stage, the player would receive a Playstyle+. Goal, assists and Clean sheets decide the role and playstyles.
