The name being this, it pays tribute to the iconic footballer. Many wonder why 06 is being referred to along with Rooney. Well, firstly, for the ones unversed about who Legxcasy is, he is a British rapper, singer and record producer from London. Jim Legxcasy gained prominence through his production and songwriting work on ‘Dave’ and ‘Sprinter’.
Legxcasy uses the year 2006 along with Rooney’s name as a reference to Rooney’s greatness, which actually saw a turning point in the year 2006. The music video makes us nostalgic as it has references to that era, like the 2000s FIFA games and the football culture back then.
