The Hidden Connection Between Jamal Musiala, Joshua Zirkzee and Tino Livramento

Tino Livramento, the Newcastle and England right-back, celebrated his birthday this week, on the 12th of November.

Birthday wishes poured in for him from his teammates since his Cobham days to the current ones at Newcastle.

But, there was one surprise stand-out amongst those wishes.

And, that was, the Netherlands and Manchester United forward, Joshua Zirkzee.

Following this, fans online started to wonder how both of them know each other since both of them belong to different nationalities and they don’t even play for the same Premier League club, either.

If you too are wondering how Zirkzee and Livramento know each other, the common denominator between them is Jamal Musiala.

To decipher this particular mystery, let me roll you back by a few years.

Jamal Musiala, the Germany and Bayern Munich midfielder, previously played in the Chelsea academy. Jamal spent time with Reece James, Levi Colwill, Michael Olise, Marc Guehi, Callum-Hudson Odoi, and others in the academy.

Now, since Jamal Musiala was in the Chelsea academy and Livramento was also a former Chelsea academy player, there is a significant chance that both of them (Musiala and Livramento) have known each other and been good friends since.

After Musiala’s Chelsea career came to an end, the German giants approached him, and he opted to go to Munich in the summer of 2020.

At the same time, Joshua Zirkzee had already progressed through Bayern’s academy and was accepted into the senior men’s team.

And, since Musiala already knew Livramento from their Cobham days at Chelsea, there is a strong likelihood that Musiala was the one who brought Zirkzee and Livramento together.

People on social media also speculate that all three of them play NBA2K on their own Playstation consoles, and that there is a chance that Livramento and Zirkzee may have met through the game as well and not necessarily through Musiala himself.

All the three of them are in good stages of their career right now, with two of them playing arguably in the best league amongst the top five leagues, the Premier League and one of them currently playing for the 34-times Bundesliga champions.

Musiala also recently made his way back into the first team training at Bayern from a horrific injury which he had suffered in the quarter-final at the Club World Cup against PSG in July of this year.

He was ruled out with injury after tests revealed that he had suffered a broken tibia and a dislocated ankle.

Although there isn’t yet a definitive report or piece of evidence regarding how Zirkzee and Livramento are connected, but Musiala’s Cobham days with Livramento and his subsequent days at Bayern Munich with Zirkzee indicate that there is a good chance that Musiala was the primary person who introduced them with each other.
