2025 has been a great year for Bradley Barcola. Since the departure of Kylian Mbappe last year, the speedy winger has been on top of his game for Paris Saint-Germain, scoring goals and delivering assists to fill the void left by Mbappe.
Parisians have fallen in love with his trickery, skills, and goal-scoring ability, but also with his signature goatee. However, things may have hit a snag as he decided to part ways with his goatee and surprise fans with a new look.
Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola, who sported a goatee with his luscious braids, has chopped off his beard, and it has Benjamin Buttoned him back several years. Barcola’s insane facial transformation was on display when he stepped onto the pitch against Le Havre in a Ligue 1 match, and it left fans absolutely stunned.

After he shaved off his goatee, the 23-year-old French winger seemingly started looking like he was in his mid-teens. Fans on Football Twitter were aghast with tweets and comments about how he looks like he’s 15, making jokes about how Barcola becomes the youngest player to make his French League debut, and more.

Last year, Allison faced a similar reaction as he went from looking like a rugged Roman gladiator to a schoolboy who cleaned up for a Class Photo Day. The clean-shaven look only lasted for a few weeks as he went back to his rugged beard at the first opportunity.
It remains to be seen what route Barcola will be taking with his new look, whether he’ll stick to the clean-shaven look or return to a goatee or grow a thick beard. Although after all the jokes and memes, it looks highly unlikely he’ll retain his clean-shaven look.
Thankfully for Barcola, the facial transformation did not transform his football ability as he was his usual electric self. The speedy winger came on as a 55th-minute substitute and scored the 3rd goal for his side as PSG defeated Le Havre 3-0 to retain their position at the top of Ligue 1.
