Toni Kroos has had a historic career, bossing the midfield, controlling games, and winning everything in his path for Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and the German National Team.
With a career as long and storied as Toni’s, you’ve got to be really deserving of the praise when he deems you the best “something” in his career.
This was the case for an Scottish club and their stadium when Toni Kroos got asked to name “the best stadium he has ever played in.”
Kroos, who retired from football last year, was asked in an Icon League TikTok to name the best stadium he had ever played in, except Stadium Bernabeu.
To that question, the 5-time Champions League winner immediately responded, “Celtic Park”.
This is a major praise for Celtic and their fans, considering all the prestigious stadiums Kroos has experienced playing in throughout his illustrious career.
Kroos played at Celtic Park in 2022 in the Champions League when Real Madrid faced Celtic. He was heaping praise on the stadium and the atmosphere in 2022 as well.

He spoke about it at length on his podcast, Einfach mal Luppen podcast, which he hosted with his brother Felix Kroos.
He was left in awe of the atmosphere and labelled Celtic Park as his favorite away ground he had ever visited.
Kroos recalled his conversation with David Alaba and told him that the atmosphere felt so crazy, he thought that the stadium might collapse.
‘We came out and the atmosphere was good. But then the Champions League anthem came on and I thought the stadium would crash down! When we lined up for the team picture I told David Alaba “it already feels like we are 2-0 down”. Just insane!’
Thankfully for Kroos, things turned out to be very different as Real Madrid were able to register a 3-0 victory over Celtic. Despite the result, the stadium clearly left a mark on Kroos, as he is always full of praise for the iconic stadium.
