Real Madrid are known as “the Royal Whites” for a reason. Their white kits are a symbol of their royalty and the responsibility of upholding it was given to the hands of the German giants Adidas.
Real Madrid and Adidas enjoy a partnership that has spanned for more than two decades. Their journey started in the year 1998 and has continued to grow over the years. The most recent extension in 2019 secured a 1.1 Billion Euros deal for the Los Blancos till the year 2028, marked What would be 30 years of collaborative merchandising.

For the 2026/27, the kits have not been officially released or confirmed but a leak of the kit is seen to be circulated on X (formerly Twitter). The images of the home kit for next season has arrived with different opinions

The jersey features the dark green colour, for the first time in the home shirt, ever in the club’s history. The sponsor and the Adidas logo also are of the same fill. There is a tonal RMCF on the back of the collar. The three striped lines on the shoulder as seen in majority of Adidas kits, is present in pink colour. The pink colour stripes are a reminiscent of the 2020-21 and 2014-15 seasons kit.
However, the kit has not gained approval from the fans, as Twitter community of Los Blancos vent out their disappointment on the design.

Pink had always been associated with Madrid’s off seasons because whenever the team had pink jerseys, the trophy cabinet did not fill up.
Real Madrid’s away jersey of the 14/15 season had pink has its primary colour. It was a disappointing season for the great whites as they were unsuccessful in any of the domestic competitions as well as the Champions League.
The pink colour returned as the secondary colour in the club’s 20/21 season and also featured in the third kit of that season. Historically, the season turned out disastrous as Real Madrid went trophyless in a season for the first time in a decade since the 09/10 season.
This had fans worry over the bad luck accompanied by Pink colour
Whoever is behind this concept doesn’t know pink stripes have been a curse for us 😭 https://t.co/7DGV86u6gV
