Twitter Loses It Over Neal Maupay’s New Hairstyle

Neal Maupay is away from England, finding home in Marseille in his home country.

Though he barely starts for the club, it must be relieving to live with his family.

But Maupay is never away from the PL fans, especially the Everton and Brentford supporters.

Maupay spent a majority of his prime for the English clubs.

But they themselves have not been able to recognize their legend in what is seeming to be Maupay’s new avatar.

Neal Maupay arrived in England in 2017 when he signed for Brentford, for a fee of £1.6 million.

Since then, he had travelled to different parts of the country, playing for Brighton, Everton and Brentford again.

Last playing for Everton in 2024, he had a loan transfer to Marseille, which had become permanent before the start of this season.

But something that was constant throughout all these was his hairstyle, which had never changed for the larger parts of his career.

He was always seen with a shorter trim to the sides and at the worst case a medium length hair on top.

Colours might have changed some times but the style never did. Even in his most recent post in Instagram, he was seen in the same hairstyle, he is recognized by.

In a recent video on Olympique Marseille’s Instagram account, Neal Maupay appears with a longer free-flowing hair, which was unseen and unfamiliar in his face.

To the question asked about who would win the AFCON, Maupay replies in support of Morocco, as he would like his teammate, Nayef Aguerd to win.

This was not the Maupay, Everton and Brentford fans knew, and they could not believe what he did to his hair.

One even considered it to be a Snapchat filter until he learnt the truth.

Maupay was into the scrutiny of getting compared to The United Strand‘s haircut challenge of not having a haircut until Manchester United win 5 games in a row.

He was even called a lookalike of fellow footballers Lucas Paqueta and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Neal Maupay is currently not getting minutes for various reasons, but if he steps on the pitch once again, he needs to make sure the trademark hairstyle is back.
