Leah Williamson’s Partner Elle Smith Spawns Women Soccer’s Hottest Copypasta

Leah Williamson, Women's Football

Leah Williamson enjoyed a tremendous 2024-2025 season, lifting the Women’s Champions League with Arsenal and captaining England to victory at the Women’s Euros.

However, she was forced to undergo knee surgery after the final, ruling her out for the first half of the 2025-26 season. She has made only three appearances for Arsenal this campaign.

Williamson’s relationship status was confirmed when she was revealed to be dating Elle Smith.

Smith is the 2021 Miss USA winner and a top-10 finisher at the Miss Universe pageant the same year. Alongside Instagram posts, Elle was also spotted in the stands during the Women’s Euro 2025, publicly supporting her partner.

In January, Elle posted her first YouTube video, a vlog about her life in New York City, explaining that she had wanted to start a channel for years. It featured her getting her nails done, meeting a friend, and going about her day.

Her second vlog, “NYC VLOG #2”, continued in the same vein, with yoga sessions and meals with friends, but concluded with Elle catching a flight to London.

A user named AoifeFields commented under the video asking for a London vlog, writing:

“We need to see a London vlog Elle x.”

The seemingly innocent comment elicited a lengthy response from Elle, who stated that it was not happening. She also warned that she would block anyone users who continued to ask for it.

“Let’s get this out of the way — that literally is not happening. So stop asking about it. If anything, it’s going to be if my friends are in London and I show what we do there, nothing else. And I will be using the block button freely if people don’t get the memo.”

The commenter was subtly hinting at content involving Williamson. However, many users found the reply to be an overreaction, since Elle had already mentioned in the vlog that she was traveling to London.

The original comment and Smith’s reply are no longer visible.

Smith had previously shared content featuring Williamson on TikTok, where similar comments were common.

X users turned Elle’s reply into a new copypasta, which has spread over WoSo Twitter. Elle’s latest Instagram story, featuring a snap of Williamson in Hamburg, elicited the copypasta response when a user jokingly asked, “Hamburg vlog? x”.

Some users came to Elle’s defense, suggesting that she was protecting Williamson and her family’s privacy. Others suggested that Elle was exhausted by the constant mention of Williamson in everything she posted.

Social media is often unforgiving when public figures react in unexpected ways. Whatever the reason for Elle’s outburst, WoSo (women’s soccer) fans won’t let her forget it anytime soon. Her comment section is still flooded with mentions of London vlogs, and there’s no sign of it slowing down.
