A TikTok creator has caught attention of football fans after claiming the man repeatedly flying a drone outside her apartment window is none other than Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
The creator behind the account is Jas, who goes by the handle @jxx on TikTok.
She has accumulated 17.7 million likes and 283.8K followers on the platform.
In a video that quickly spread on X, Jas showed footage of a man operating a drone from the apartment directly opposite hers.
“Got messages from other people that live in that building saying it is Rodrigo Hernandez.
I don’t know, personally to me, this looks like a white man. I don’t think that looks like I mean, similar build and hair color, but I don’t think it is him.
But yeah, this is him after a long shift of being a f***ing p*do.
Yeah, this is literally what he does. He just flies it, um, outside people’s apartments. He just sits and says at the apartment, and then he goes up a bit or goes around the other side of the building.
I don’t know if he’s aware now that we people are filming him because when he lands his drone, he leaves it on the floor for a little bit. He doesn’t collect it until afterwards, until he thinks people have stopped filming him.
But yeah, I’ve got all of his information. I’ve got his apartment number, I’ve got the contact information for the property manager of his building.
Um, I don’t think it I mean if it I’ll put a picture of the actual Man City player, see what you guys think, but to me this looks like a white man, so I don’t know.
Um, but yeah, that this is who they’re saying it is, the Man City player. Um, allegedly, deeply apologize Rodrigo if it’s not you. Um, however, if it is, genuinely what the f**k?”

Rodri is known to live in CitySuites, a high-end apartment complex in the heart of Manchester city centre.
The building is notable for mixing private residential units with short-stay tourist accommodation.

Pep Guardiola also lives in the same complex and has remained there since first arriving in Manchester.
Man City fans have come out and defended Rodri in the aftermath of his unwanted TikTok fame –
assume everything being said is correct, do you think a multi-millionaire Rodri would not be able to get a high-tech drone that he can fly while being in house via watching it through a TV?

Rodri has played just eight games all season after his original ACL rupture in September 2024 was followed by a series of further setbacks including a hamstring injury.
With limited football to occupy his time, a drone hobby feels entirely plausible to fans already convinced by the geography.
Neither Rodri nor Manchester City have commented on the TikTok video. Jas has not posted a follow-up to confirm or deny anything further.
