A first look has been emerged online for Manchester City‘s new away kit for the 2026/27 season. Even though Puma and Man City didn’t officially release it, online leaks are spreading across social media, giving fans a glimpse of what the jersey will look like.

The away jersey’s design pays homage to Manchester’s culture and history.
The kit features a black base enhanced by a subtle, all-over embossed pattern of the Manchester worker bee.
Along with pale yellow logos, a throwback to their 1989-90 third kit, and is finished with a pale-yellow collar and cuffs.

The design is a direct tribute to the city of Manchester, celebrating the iconic cultural symbol of the worker bee. While a more prominent bee was featured in initial concepts, the actual leaked versions showcase the bees subtly throughout the fabric paired with yellow logos across the chest.
The Manchester worker bee is a famous emblem symbolizing the city’s industrious history. First adopted in 1842 for the city’s Coat of Arms, it represents the working-class spirit that turned Manchester into a global hive of activity during the Industrial Revolution.
The bee appears all over the city of Manchester on architecture, lampposts, and bins.
Transport for Greater Manchester rebranded its Buses and tram network as The Bee Network, featuring bright yellow and black liveries.

Following the tragic 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, the motif was universally adopted as a public symbol of solidarity, resilience, and hope against terrorism.
The motif can be spotted in the official arms of The University of Manchester and on historic structures like the Manchester Town Hall.
But the fans are not happy with this kit. With bees as jersey pattern, fans are wondering why their club is using the Brentford F. C’s logo in their jersey.
Wtf is this garbage? And what is the meaning of the bee😋 are we the new brentford😭😭

Some other fans have stated that this would be ugliest jersey done by Puma, as they usually does.
Ugly as usual from puma. Simple bee in the middle was superior. Bee is more present too pic.twitter.com/0K24ozHJ4s
