Currently 38 years old, Messi continues to play football and is the captain and most important member of Inter Miami, a club he has been with since 2023. It’s sad to think that his retirement is getting closer, but Messi is undoubtedly enjoying his time with the American club, and the fans of the team are also enjoying that the “GOAT” is part of the club they support.
Since his arrival in the United States of America, Messi has become a sensation in that country, so much so that we have seen him enjoy his life outside of football much more than before, and it is clear that his family is happy since they are living in Miami. Speaking a little about Messi and social media, there is news that Messi will play football with Inter Miami with a body-worn camera starting August 2, 2025, and that the games will be broadcast on TikTok, which has left many perplexed.
Of course, playing with a camera on his body will obviously be too uncomfortable even for Messi, so many people searched for information and found that it is actually false that he will play this way, but that the camera will only focus on him throughout the match, but not that the camera will be strapped to his body or anything like that.
Even a website associated with Inter Miami has reported that there is a camera following him, but not that he has a camera attached to his chest.
Following this news, many football fans around the world have had very mixed opinions regarding the camera focusing solely on Messi. While some agree it will be a great idea.
There are also others who, even though they think it’s a good idea, also think about Messi and whether he really agrees with all of this.
