Kate Scott (formerly Kate Abdo), one of the prominent and well appreciated broadcaster from USA-based CBS Sports, is set to make a shift from her usual football domain.
Paramount Sky Dance Corporation, the parent organization of CBS sports, have planned to rope in Kate Scott as the desk anchor for UFC324.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paramount Sky Dance Corporation announced a seven year long deal in 2025 worth 7.7 billion, a multi territory expansion including the US and Latin America broadcast rights.
To bring a seasoned and fan favourite anchor into the broadcast team, who could raise the standards with her skillset, Paramount+ turned to their CBS Sports golazo presenter Kate Scott, who has made a name for herself in the widely regarded Champions League coverage show.
Kate Scott along with her colleagues and former footballers, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, contributed to the success of the show with her eccentric flow and flawless communication.
Kate is well known for her ability to anchor during live events with utmost calmness and precision without causing any controversy. Her unoffensive sense of humour has a seperate fanbase.

To support for her appointment, Ariel Helwani, a Canadian sports journalist who is an expert in MMA and Wrestling coverage, outspoke about his experience with Kate Scott and said that its a massive upgrade to the event’s profile.

Kate Scott has had previous experiences as a host for wrestling events, having worked in world championships for Fox Sports. She had recently hosted the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight for Netflix.
Her debut has people anticipating how much of an humour angle she is going to bring to the table as an anchor.
Kate Scott will be accompanied by familiar UFC anchors Dominic Cruz and Daniel Cornmier.
This led to fans drawing parallels from Kate’s silky sense of humour during one of her UCL Coverage shows, which had gained popularity in the internet for its pun intended nature.
