16 YO Kai Rooney Confirms Hulkish Muscle Gain With New IG Snap

Body Talk, Kai Rooney, Manchester United, Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney is arguably the most successful footballer of all time. Having a career that spanned almost 20 years, Wayne won almost everything there was to. Be it Premier League or Champions league or even Community Shield’s, Rooney always showed up when his team needed him.

Fans believe it is now his son’s turn to shine.

Kai Rooney has been proving himself in recent times despite being at the tender age of 16.  Kai has been playing for the Man Utd U-18 team and has been remarkable. He has had 10 goals and 1 assist in this season despite facing an injury in September of 2025 and in March of 2026. He has also had 3 goals in 2 appearances for the U-18 Premier League Cup, which set him as one of the leading goalscorers. Due to his surname and background, Kai is often overly judged by the fans but they believe he will follow well into the legacy of his father.

In recent times, however, Kai has made the headlines for having a…muscular body?

In his last set of Instagram stories, Kai posted a pic of himself in the gym seemingly with his body buffed out. His biceps and triceps seemed to have almost inflated with muscles compared to his leaned out body as seen over the years.

Due to his previous look, fans were shocked to see his progress in the gym. The photo consisted of him wearing a grey beanie and a white tank top while holding weights. People had surprising reactions towards the pic, especially reactions that believed the picture was of someone else and not him.

This reaction caught people’s eye quick, especially kai’s. He posted a pic of himself again with the same outfit and flexing his forearms.

People were now convinced it was him and had built his body ever since his recovery in early 2026.

Fans are happy to see the direction Kai is taking with his career by taking it seriously early on and not letting people raise any finger towards his upcoming career.
