The One Thing Ruining AS Roma’s Otherwise Perfect 26/27 Away Kit

Adidas, AS Roma, Football Kits, Football Sponsorships

With 26/27 kits being revealed as time progresses, fans are feasting on the new offerings from various clubs, already nitpicking the design faults and celebrating the ones which have been laid out beautifully by the clubs.

AS Roma revealed their home kit for the upcoming season and are set to release the away kit on August 8.

Before the official unveil, kit leaker Kamil Berberler dropped the official pictures with the caption “A tribute to ‘Pietas’”, a foundational ancient Roman virtue about having a deep respect and obligation toward the gods, family, and country.

With the kit itself not having an issue, the colours and their scheme seemed to have resonated well with fans but one detail on the kit fazed away fans from showing appreciation towards the vibrant kit.

A.S Roma finalized their multi-year sponsorship agreement with Eurobet.live, which serves as the club’s new main front-of-the-shirt sponsor. The deal which was announced in march of 2026 runs till the end of 28-29 season.

With the agreement being approx 16 million per year, it stands with a total value of around 50 million euros.

This sponsorship ended a period where Roma operated without a primary shirt sponsor for more than half of the 2025–26 campaign, following the expiration of the Riyadh Season deal.

Fans were quick to criticise the kit as the logo of Eurobet.live stood at the centre of the kit, essentially ruining the kit’s feel which resonated highly with that of A.S Roma.

Fans added the kit to the list of “great kits ruined by sponsorship deals” and hope such events do not take place in the future for any club, let alone A.S Roma.
