Konami has the chance to eclipse EA Sports with their Football simulation game Pro Evolution Soccer 2021. For years, EA’s FIFA titles have got the nod from most fans in front of Konami’s PES.
However, the Japanese video game developers can smell a change in the air as EA Sports continues to get heavy criticism for their lack of improvement and creativity carrying on from previous titles.
Konami’s PES, on the other hand, has taken a significant step in the right direction by procuring official club licenses. These include the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United along with several other high profile sides.
Set to release on 15th of September 2020, eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer is bringing in welcome additions like Euro 2021, better animations & gameplay, Master League improvements, and players rendered in-game using real face data.
Recently released in-game footage showcasing the games’ details and graphic power seems to have won over the Manchester United fans as stunning images showing a recreation of Old Trafford in PES 2021 arrives online.
Konami claims that it is the most faithful and detailed recreation of ‘the Theatre of Dreams’ made in a video game to date, and the Red Devils faithful seem to adhere.
Both interiors and exteriors of the stadium have been replicated as close as possible to the real life version.
