Micah Richards knew what was coming for him but still went with it
The rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester City was on display after Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain to win their 6th Champions League trophy last night.
Kingsley Coman scored the only goal of the match as the Bavarians accomplished a 1-0 victory in Lisbon.
Both Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards were involved in the live coverage of the final with US based CBS Sports.
Despite it being the last day for Liverpool as European champions, Carra was having none of it when former Manchester City defender Micah Richards attempted to get a rise out of the Scouser by saying “they’ve got as many as Liverpool now” as Bayern players went to take their medals.
Carragher replied, “yeah, that’s right…and that’s 6 more than City”, leaving everyone in the room in a fit of laughter.
