Cristiano Ronaldo suffered one of the worst defeats of his illustrious career as Manchester United were played out of the park by their biggest rivals Liverpool on Sunday.
At one point during the 5-0 rout at Old Trafford, the Portuguese superstar was seen sending a message to someone by doing frantic hand movements after Liverpool had scored a goal.
The gestures seemed quite similar to the moves Marvel character Doctor Strange does before casting a spell of magic to beat his enemies.
If the Doctor Strange comparisons were not enough, many football fans also joked that the former Real Madrid star was openly mocking the tactics employed by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with his vigorous hand movements.
