The FIFA World Cup fever has taken over the lives of football fans and footballers. The football bonanza is set to continue until December 18, as some of the world’s best footballers fight for the chance to lift the iconic gold trophy next month.

However, not every prominent footballer is in Qatar for the tournament. There are a number of talented players, both young and old, who are currently enjoying a little break period due to the lack of any action.

These players are unable to participate in the World Cup due to their teams not qualifying for it, or them being deemed not good enough to be a part of their national side.

England has travelled to Qatar with a squad rich in talent, but there are still a lot of quality players that have been forced to stay at home. Two of those players include Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho as well as Liverpool’s young midfielder Harvey Elliott.

Neither were able to impress Gareth Southgate enough to warrant ap lace in the World Cup squad.

With no domestic competition to participate in before the competition is over, teams like Liverpool and United have given their non-participating players some time to relax or have a little vacation before the break is over.

Harvey Elliott is definitely making the most of his time off, as he is partying hard and enjoying his personal time before the gruelling domestic season re-starts.

The Englishman is actually vacationing with his Liverpool teammate Kostas Tsimikas, who is unable to play at the World Cup due to Greece being unable to qualify.

The two seem to be having a blast together, going to bars and discos to enjoy some social life during this time off.

The Liverpool duo recorded them having a brilliant time dancing to popstar Dua Lipa’s ‘One Kiss’, singing along with the song and dancing to it in a disco as well.

For Sancho, however, things aren’t so enjoyable. The Englishman recently revealed that he’s taking time off from social media to focus on improving his form.

He is well aware that his performances for United have not been up to the mark since arriving from Borussia Dortmund for a major fee of over £70m.

Sancho was dropped by manager Erik ten Hag towards the last few weeks before the World Cup break and even suffered from injury issues.

The 21-year-old has decided to use this little break to work on his overall fitness levels and try to correct the errors in his game.

He has travelled all the way to the Netherlands, the home country of Erik ten Hag, to do some conditioning training.

Sancho was recommended to do so by Ten Hag himself, as he has chosen Dutch amateur football club OJC Rosmalen – a side based in Amsterdam – to refocus on finding his best form and work on his fitness before the end of the World Cup break.

The United winger appears to have taken the England rejection and criticism from fans over his inability to perform consistently to his heart.

So while his fellow Englishman Elliot dances around – content with his performances for Liverpool this season – Sancho is left to focus on training even during this break and try to find the form needed to find a permanent spot in Ten Hag’s side.
