Lionel Messi and Alexis Mac Allister, Kylian Mbappe and Dida, Football has a major list of lookalikes or doppelgängers but rarely does one come across someone who looks equal parts of not one but two Football players.
The man in the image is a new West Bromwich Albion signing, Jeremy Sarmiento.
Sarmiento recently agreed to a loan move to West Brom from Brighton Hove and Albion. The Ecuadorian forward signed a two year loan deal that keeps him at The Hawthorns up until 2024.
The forward is many people’s early prediction for Championship player of the year if he manages to stay fit.

The player however has become somewhat of a cult hero as a tweet posted by WBA of Sarmiento’s “drip check” went viral and people couldn’t help but notice the similarities with Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones and ex-Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.
People went as far as to saying that the Ecuadorian looked a love child of the two Liverpool players and dubbed him the name “Curtis Firmino”
The player upon close examination, has eyes similar to the Brazilian international and overall face structure of Jones. He even has the goatee style beard rocked by Curtis as well as the eyebrow slit Firmino has along with the sparkly white teeth and ear piercings he his famous for.
Sarmiento will wear the number 17 for the baggies. the player is quite versatile and can play an array of positions in the attack including LW, RW and even CAM or a false 9.
He could prove to be a diamond in the rough for Carlos Corberan as they look to gain promotion back to the premier league for 3rd season running.
The player will have to prove himself in his 2 year spell with the club but until then, he will be most know as ” Curtis Firmino” and who knows, fans may even start singing “Si Senor” in a scouse accent to make the player at home.
