The transfer window is upon us. With the ongoing Euro 24 and Copa America 24, the frenzy of the transfer market is a little under the rug. But expect things to pick up after this month.
But time and Twitter wait for none. With the barrage of speculations, graphic designers from all corners of the globe show off their handy work with photoshops.
Some of the trending ones feature Trent Alexander-Arnold, which can give any Liverpool fan a heart attack. TAA is seen in the colours of arch-rivals Manchester United‘s training kit. Trent would probably be the first one to dismiss the idea, but photoshoppers don’t care.
I can't believe what I'm seeing, they have actually put him in Manchester United gear after some former player said they should sign Trent 🤮 pic.twitter.com/EFzDS4qG2Q

The idea came from the recent comments of a Manchester United legend, Dwight Yorke. The former Trinidad and Tobago striker advised his former club to jump at the opportunity of signing the right-back if the opportunity presented itself.
‘I’m not sure Trent Alexander-Arnold would want to leave Liverpool as it’s his boyhood club, but Liverpool will be under transition now Jurgen Klopp has left,’ Yorke recently said in an interview.
’This could be another opportunity where, if Liverpool don’t perform under Slot and Alexander-Arnold becomes unhappy, Man United should do everything they can to sign him.’
While Alexander Arnold’s photoshopping remained within club football boundaries, things went international as well. Lioness captain Leah Williamson became the source material with her face morphed into the body of a men’s team player.
An X user who unearthed the picture on the social media platform wrote in the caption, ‘I have a solution for the male lionesses (although it’s too late now).’

With Gareth Southgate‘s England putting fans to sleep left and right with their brand of play, Leah Williamson can spark some excitement in that team, according to the user’s belief. Williamson’s leadership could be another added bonus for the men’s team, with a clear lack of a leader.
The final trend in store crossed the Northern Atlantic as it features the USMNT. After a dismal show on home soil in the Copa America that saw them crash out of the group stage, #GreggBerhalterout is trending. Although his contract runs through 2026, an axe might be on its way. So who’d replace him to lead the USMNT to glory? Photoshop experts have nominated Jurgen Klopp.

This came after former Everton goalkeeper, Tim Howard proposed the idea of having Klopp as the USMNT head coach.
‘If I was in charge of US Soccer, I would fly to Spain and pay Jurgen Klopp a visit. I believe I could convince him to take the USMNT job,’ Howard wrote for the Daily Mail. With Klopp making it clear that he’ll take a hiatus from coaching activities, the chances look slim to bag the German for a renaissance in American soccer.
