Italy has been able to produce both world-class players and excellent head coaches, and one of the best of his generation was Massimiliano Allegri, who has been important for two of Italy’s biggest teams, AC Milan and Juventus. His first spells with both teams have been memorable, as they met and even exceeded expectations and although Allegri’s legacy has eroded somewhat over time, many remember him as one of the greatest head coaches to ever come out of Italy because of his tactical versatility in every match, which was very evident, was iconic and was a large part of the reason for his success.
If we continue talking about his tactical intelligence and innovation, we could spend all day on this. But there have been times when Allegri has been heavily criticized for his personality, and this has been particularly noticeable in recent years, especially for his tendency to kick his players during matches, or to try to do so.
It’s no joke what we’re saying, Allegri has really kicked his own players, but not with the intention of injuring them or actually hurting them, but he has done it.
Now back at the helm at AC Milan, Allegri recently kicked Yunus Musah while he was on the ground in order to get him to get up so he could continue playing during the 2-0 win over Lecce. It is worth noting that Musah went on loan to Atalanta on Deadline Day.

But don’t think this is something recent or new, or that it has to do with racism, because it doesn’t. Allegri has been doing this for a while. Some fans online published the image of the head coach kicking Nicolo Fagioli, who at the time played for Juventus.

There was also a video online of Allegri kicking Federico Chiesa, a former Juventus player, this time.
This is something that became par for the course for a while, especially considering the Italian manager’s outbursts during the matches.

Even when he hasn’t been seen kicking Chiesa, he has been seen threatening to kick the former Juve player. There was a video of Allegri apparently attempting to threaten his player, but since you can’t hear what he’s saying, it’s a mystery.
Why was Allegri screaming at Chiesa after his assist 😭😭

It’s not really clear why he does it, whether it’s for fun, affection, or because he really likes kicking people. These kicks have caused a lot of talk and have somewhat damaged Allegri’s image. The Italian manager has achieved a lot in the game, but there is no denying that his outbursts have become controversial throughout the years. Here is hoping that he can cool himself down since he could get into trouble because of this.
