Thomas Frank had quite a successful 7-year tenure as the manager of Brentford Football Club, helping them get promoted to the Premier League. After his time at Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur came calling for the 52-year-old Danish manager. The offer he could not turn down.
Frank moved to Spurs as their new head coach in the summer of 2025. Spurs made some impressive player signings under Frank heading into the 2025/26 season. Spurs started the new campaign strongly under Frank, with three victories out of three games, including a win at the Etihad against the much-fancied Manchester City.
However, recent results have been far from ideal for Thomas Frank, with his side getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup and placed 5th in the Premier League table with 17 points from 10 games. Frank suffered his third defeat in the league this season after losing to Spurs’ London rivals, Chelsea, at home.
After the departure of Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham, who appointed Frank as the manager, the current board seem to be satisfied with the Danish manager so far. With just his first season at Spurs, time seems to be on his side, and his role as the Spurs boss looks secure. Apart from the Spurs’ loss to Chelsea, there is a consensus that is doing the rounds on social media.
