The ref lost control in the heated game as it ended with 10 warnings and 2 expulsions.
Barca then punished Real Madrid’s wastefulness in the stoppage time, scoring two more goals and sealing the dominant win.
The Clasico win strengthens their position at the top of the table with 30 points from 11 games as they hold a 6-point gap over Atletico Madrid, who have 24 points in 11 games.
