Newcastle Fan Goes Viral Over Toilet Incident With A Goth During Marseille UCL Trip

Champions League, Newcastle United, Olympique Marseille

Life as a football fan on an away day can often end up being adventurous, to put it mildly. Public altercations, drunken brawls, riots, police involvement, fines and bans, things can easily go from 0 to 100 pretty quickly.

A Newcastle fan ended up doing all that, and some more, as he had arguably the wildest away day ever recorded in the history of European football.

As Newcastle United travelled to Marseille for their UEFA Champions League game, while the team was preparing to get out of dodge with a positive result, one fine gentleman had other ideas as he embarked on a series of incidents, all of which individually could’ve gotten him punished.

Instead, the series of incidents culminated in the French police launching an entire search for the fan after he allegedly got into an altercation with the riot police, among other exploits.

The tensions were already high this week as Newcastle and Marseille fans were scrapping before the kick-off. While most of Newcastle’s traveling contingent were well behaved, a few drunken fans got carried away.

Among them was one fan who was seen fully naked in a lurid sex act in the stadium toilet with a woman who was wearing black clothing and dark makeup, making her look like a goth.

The same Newcastle fans was also spotted dancing shirtless with a drink in hand in a square outside the stadium, leaving the fans in an awkward situation.  He was then seen in a separate clip allegedly rucking with the riot police inside the stadium.

While public sex isn’t explicitly outlawed in France, acts of public indecency are still punishable by up to 12 months in prison and a €15,000 (£13,138) fine.

Moreover, the French cops claim they are only searching for the man for allegedly clashing with the riot police and not the bathroom footage as Marseille police claimed:

“Video of a couple taking part in a sex act in the stadium has been shown to us. It appears that the man involved may have been fighting later on.”

The fact that Marseille won 2-1 thanks to an Aubameyang brace didn’t help matters either, as the Marseille Ultras goaded the Toon Army, and tempers flared as brawls ensued, batons and tear gas were used, and Newcastle fans were allegedly “treated like animals”.

This is a stark difference from the harmonious scenes witnessed during Marseille and Ajax in the last Champions League matchday, when the home side unveiled a Bob Marley tifo to deliver a wholesome message of standing up for your rights.
