Fans Stunned as Nico O’Reilly Sits Front Row at Burberry Event

Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly has been having a pretty wild week.

The 20-year-old recently scored a brace against Newcastle to help City win 2-1. Just two days later, he showed up front row at London Fashion Week.

O’Reilly was spotted at the Burberry Fall/Winter 2026 show on February 23, looking completely at ease in the front row.

He wore a black jacket, brown pants, and white trainers, which was honestly a really clean and effortless look.

The company he was keeping made the whole thing even more surprising.

He was seated alongside K-pop idol Yoona, Thai actor Bright Vachirawit, and Bridgerton stars Simone Ashley and Luke Thompson.

People could not believe the same guy dominating Premier League midfields was now sitting at a Burberry show.

Things got even more interesting when people spotted Liverpool’s Curtis Jones also at the event.

Seeing two players from such fierce rival clubs at a fashion show is genuinely funny to think about.

Fans found the whole situation hilarious given how intense the City and Liverpool rivalry gets.

We aren’t sure if Jones and O’Reilly are really friends. It looks like one of those random celebrity crossover moments that fashion week tends to produce every year.

What makes this moment even bigger is just how good O’Reilly has been for City this season.

The Manchester-born midfielder has racked up six goals and five assists across 39 appearances in all competitions. He has been a key part of Pep Guardiola’s plans as City push hard for the title.

His recent form has been particularly impressive with a brace against Newcastle. O’Reilly opened the scoring with a left-footed strike in the 14th minute, then headed home from an Erling Haaland cross in the 27th minute.

The win narrowed the gap to league leaders Arsenal down to just two points (although the gap is back to 5 points after Arsenal’s win over Spurs in NLD).

Now he gets a chance to keep that momentum going. City travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United on February 28 in their next Premier League fixture.

If O’Reilly carries this kind of form into that match, Leeds are going to have a very tough afternoon dealing with him.
