If you asked Barcelona fans how they feel about their current season, many of them will be quite satisfied with how they have turned out this deep into their season.
Last season saw Barcelona rediscover itself under new manager Hansi Flick and win a domestic treble as well as reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
This season hasn’t, however, achieved the same level of being perfect as Barcelona has been knocked out of the Copa del Rey, but they still sit 1st in the league table and are currently in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
In other ways, Barcelona fans have definitely been fans of this season due to the kits provided to their team by Nike.
The american based company provided them with stunning kits, be it Home, Away, Third or even the special editions.
Barcelona fans loved all the kits and were extremely anticipating next season’s kits as well. This anticipation just increased with leaks coming out, and now we have our first glimpse of the Away kit for Barcelona next season.

The away jersey features a gradient from a black top to a purple bottom with gold and iridescent logos. The jersey will sport the Nike Mamba logo as a tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant. The jersey has also been inspired by Kobe Bryant’s famous quote, “Leave the game better than you find it,” which will also be printed on the back of the jersey.

This is also the second consecutive season that sees Barcelona and Nike collaborate with the Mamba brand.

The gradient on next season’s jersey has reportedly been inspired by the 2023-24 Jersey of the Los Angeles Lakers, which was seen with a similar purple, black and gold gradient.

The goalkeeper kit will feature a stone gradient, and there are concerns that it might contrast with the kit. This might see the team wear a different goalkeeper kit altogether.
The kit will also feature a collar that is similar to many kits released by Nike in this cycle, such as the England home kit for the World Cup.
The fans, clearly, once again, based on the tweet from ForBlaugrana, see Lamine Yamal as the face of the club and would love to see him wear the jerseys for next season.

The fan support comes as no surprise, as Yamal, in his first season as Barcelona’s Legendary #10, has set the stage on fire by scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists in LaLiga and the Champions League. The starboy also made a name for himself by finishing as runner-up in last year’s Ballon d’Or race.
It’s also important to remember some absolutely stunning performances, especially in the Copa Del Rey second leg against Atletico, where many fans considered him absolutely untouchable in that game. They will always rue not being able to complete the comeback.
With the kit being leaked, Barcelona fans will now be looking forward to ending this season on a high note and starting with their next game against Atletico Madrid in the quarter finals of the Champions League on 9th April.
