Champions League, Football YouTubers, Thogden, TNT Sports

Theo Ogden, popularly known as Thogden, has amassed over 2.4 million followers on his YouTube channel, where he commonly shares pranks and his experiences going to football matches.

Gaining infamy for his over the top style content and antics with clickbait titles, the 25-year-old is one of the most despised figures in the scene.

Often collaborations with his father, Stephen Ogden has also become a cause for much scrutiny, as the latter himself garners a lot of negative attention from people online.

He also came under a lot of fire after his coverage of the Qatar World cup with many accusing him of being directly involved in sports washing.

Even showcasing his unethical side by using a Newcastle United fan having a cardiac arrest for his thumbnail and clickbait in a since-deleted YouTube video.

From buying the Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper’s gloves from a kid to butting heads with Cristiano Ronaldo‘s fanbase with his comments over the Portuguese legend prior to the 2022 World Cup, there is a catalogue of actions that people use against him.

Even the sight of the 25-year-old ticks football fans off.

This became evidently clear after his most recent appearance in the Allianz Arena in the Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid game.

As the crowd present in the stadium went ecstatic with Michael Olise‘s wonderful left footed game winner, fans watching from their homes spotted the cameras panning to the YouTuber.

A memorable night for any football fan turned somewhat bitter after many spotted the live broadcast. The incident caused stir of frustration among the community of football fans who expressed their feelings online.

Another wrote, “Showing Thogden completely ruined that Olise goal.”

Hopefully, many of them will be able to put this incident aside and remember the game for the quality on display by both of the European giants making it one of the greatest nights in the history of the UEFA Champions League.
