Nike Calls In Palace, NOCTA, Jacquemus And More For Its Boldest World Cup Play Yet

2026 FIFA World Cup, Football Fashion, Nike

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is already becoming more than a football tournament.

With the competition set to take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the build-up is turning into a wider cultural moment, where football, fashion, sneakers, music, and streetwear are all moving together.

Nike is leaning directly into that energy with Nike X2, a new project built around seven national federations, seven creative collaborators, and seven community-focused sport organisations.

Nike X2 is not just a standard kit release.

It is a series of seven capsule collections, each pairing a national team with a creative name connected to that country’s wider cultural identity.

The lineup includes Canada x NOCTA, England x Palace, France x Jacquemus, Netherlands x Patta, Nigeria x Slawn, South Korea x PEACEMINUSONE, and United States x Virgil Abloh Archive / V.A.A.

Each capsule collection includes a pre-match jersey, lifestyle-focused apparel, and a matching Nike Cryoshot sneaker inspired by classic Nike football boots.

Each federation’s capsule collection honours a youth or community sport organisation, connecting the global scale of the World Cup with grassroots football and youth sport initiatives.

Nigeria x Slawn Capsule Collection

Nigeria’s capsule collection with Slawn is one of the boldest entries in Nike X2.

The Super Eagles already have a strong reputation for standout Nike football designs, and this collection continues that energy through Slawn’s raw, hand-drawn visual style.

The Nigerian artist brings a rebellious, expressive look to the capsule collection, using bold graphics and wing-inspired details to reinterpret the Super Eagles’ identity.

The Nigeria x Slawn capsule collection is titled “The Super Eagles” and honours the Bravehearts Ladies Foundation.

It includes a pre-match jersey and matching apparel, while the footwear piece is the Slawn x Nike Cryoshot Striker 1976.

The sneaker reworks Nike’s earliest football boot in canvas and covers it with Slawn’s signature illustrations, creating one of the most art-driven shoes in the project.

England x Palace Capsule Collection

England’s capsule collection with Palace is the most playful and streetwear-coded of the lineup.

Palace brings its London skate identity to the Three Lions, turning traditional England football symbolism into something sharper, younger, and more relaxed.

The design takes inspiration from the St. George’s Cross, but filters it through Palace’s bold, casual streetwear language.

The England x Palace capsule collection is titled “The Three Lions” and honours Football Beyond Borders.

It includes a slim-fitting, sweat-wicking pre-match top with Palace and England co-branding, along with lifestyle pieces connected to the same theme.

The sneaker is the Palace x Nike Cryoshot Air Speed M, which transforms a classic football boot into an everyday shoe with smooth synthetic leather, sport-style colour hits, and Palace branding.

France x Jacquemus Capsule Collection

France’s capsule collection with Jacquemus is the most refined and fashion-focused of the seven.

Instead of leaning into loud graphics, the Les Bleus collection brings a cleaner, more elegant design direction.

Jacquemus uses French identity and the country’s tricolor palette in a polished way, with stripe patterns that feel more like fashion detailing than standard football graphics.

The France x Jacquemus capsule collection is titled “Les Bleus” and honors Sport dans la Ville.

It includes a pre-match jersey and apparel built around the French flag’s blue, white, and red identity.

The matching sneaker is the Jacquemus x Nike Cryoshot Tiempo R10, recreated in premium leather with subtle Sport Royal and University Red accents.

Netherlands x Patta Capsule Collection

The Netherlands’ capsule collection with Patta is one of the most community-rooted drops in Nike X2.

Patta brings Amsterdam’s streetwear heritage to Oranje, mixing Dutch football pride with local culture and ideas of unity.

The design combines the States Lion with charms that represent the different heritages of KNVB players, giving the collection a more personal and multicultural feel.

The Netherlands x Patta capsule collection is titled “Oranje” and honours Favela Street.

It includes a pre-match jersey and apparel that celebrate Dutch identity both on and off the pitch.

The footwear piece is the Patta x Nike Cryoshot R9 Mercurial, which reimagines the classic Mercurial boot with Netherlands-inspired colours and an additional removable fold-over tongue for a vintage football touch.

Canada x NOCTA Capsule Collection

Canada’s capsule collection with NOCTA is the sleekest and most performance-driven of the lineup.

NOCTA, Drake’s Nike-backed label, gives Canada Soccer a clean and modern streetwear identity.

The design draws from Canadian heritage, including nature, the national flag, and the anatomy of sport, while keeping NOCTA’s sharp silhouettes and technical feel at the centre.

The Canada x NOCTA capsule collection is titled “Les Rouges” and honours Canadian Women & Sport.

It includes Canada-focused fanwear, pre-match apparel, and lifestyle pieces shaped through NOCTA’s design language.

The sneaker is the NOCTA x Nike Cryoshot Tiempo ’94, which arrives in a University Gold and Black colorway, giving the Canada capsule collection one of the cleanest footwear pairings in the project.

South Korea x PEACEMINUSONE Capsule Collection

South Korea’s capsule collection with PEACEMINUSONE is the most culture-driven of the group.

Connected to G-Dragon, PEACEMINUSONE brings Korean fashion, music, and youth culture into the football space.

The collection is inspired by generations of Korean gatherings and mixes KFA-specific graphics with modern Korean workwear details.

The South Korea x PEACEMINUSONE capsule collection is titled “The Tigers of Asia” and honours We Meet Up.

It includes a pre-match jersey and apparel that combine Korean football identity with PEACEMINUSONE’s signature flower motif.

The sneaker is the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Cryoshot CTR360, made with distressed synthetic suede, embroidery, and printed branding for a worn-in, fashion-forward football look.

United States x Virgil Abloh Archive / V.A.A. Capsule Collection

The United States’ capsule collection with Virgil Abloh Archive / V.A.A. is the most nostalgic and legacy-focused of the seven.

With the World Cup returning to the U.S. in 2026, the collection looks back at American football history, especially the visual world of the 1994 World Cup.

It channels vintage Americana while carrying Virgil Abloh’s design language into a new football context.

The USA x V.A.A. capsule collection is titled “The Stars & Stripes” and honours Coalitions for Sport Equity.

It includes bold graphics, nostalgic styling, and apparel that connects American soccer history with Abloh’s legacy.

The sneaker is the Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Cryoshot M9, a lifestyle version of the Zoom M9 that nods to Mia Hamm’s World Cup legacy and features Abloh-style “AIR” text and distinct branding.

Nike has officially unveiled these X2 capsule collections ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but the full retail launch has not happened yet.

The rollout is expected to begin on June 11, 2026 through collaborator and federation retail, followed by Dover Street Market on June 13 and SNKRS plus select Nike partner retailers on June 16.

Nike attempts to turn the road to the 2026 World Cup into a cultural tournament of its own.

Through seven capsule collections, the brand brings together national pride, designer storytelling, grassroots sport, and sneaker culture, showing that modern football now lives far beyond the 90 minutes on the pitch.
