Chaos, controversy, clumsy are three words that perfectly sum up Liverpool’s identity right now more than “You will never walk alone”.
Following the draw against Leeds United, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah had enough and burst out about his situation post match which is the third consecutive time he had been benched. Not rested!
“It’s NOT acceptable to me, to be honest. I don’t know why it happens to me. We throw Mo under the bus… because he’s the problem. I don’t think I’m the problem” salah had to rant after he was not even subbed in during the second half of the game.
He drew parallels between his fellow Premier League striker Erling Haaland and Bayern Munich hitman Harry Kane and also accepted the fact that Jamie Carragher will voluntarily have a dig at him for doing this but it is fine with him.
More noticeable is the fact that he said Harry Kane would have got the media backing had he been in such a situation and he is not given the same treatment but also apologised for drawing him into the context.
The incident has left fans wondering how Salah’s future at Liverpool and the relationship will turn out smooth anymore.
He was seen putting up a thanking guard around Anfield which might in the hindsight indicate a departure. He also spoke about how much he loves the club and how would he be saying a goodbye to fans before going to play the AFCON.

Although this is something sad for the Liverpool fans, other football neutrals drew this situation to similarity of Ronaldo and Ten Hag controversy at United. It suits even more well considering the fact that both Arne slot and Ten Hag are bald, dutch managers.
Some fans even criticized the act of Piers Morgan as shameful, who made a deliberate attempt to have an interview with Salah just like when he had with Ronaldo during his tough tenure at United.
Liverpool have a game against Brighton at home on 13th december before Salah would leave for AFCON but considering what happened there are very less possibilities of the relationship between Slot and Salah improving.
