Manchester City’s European Treble has given their players all the freedom to do whatever they please in pre-season, but Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish seem to be bent on promoting a new fashion trend. The two played key roles in helping the Citizens win all major trophies last season and also end their UEFA Champions League curse.
It’s not like the two haven’t partied after that. Grealish made all the headlines in England for his wild partying nature after winning the Champions League – going through sleepless nights and drinking A LOT of alcohol.
Haaland didn’t reach his teammates’ levels of madness, but had a great time celebrating with his teammates. The Norwegian has spent the holiday period with his girlfriend Isabel Johansen, with the two attending a lot of fashion shows and events together.
What did Erling Haaland wear to FC 24 party?
The 22-year-old, who scored 52 goals in his debut season for the Cityzens, turned up at a recent Dolce & Gabbana show in the colours of his team. But that wasn’t the end of him donning eye-catching attires to public events either.
Haaland was in attendance for EA Sports’ FC 24 trailer presentation ceremony, in which he was also revealed to be the cover star for the EA Sports FC 24’ standard edition. He manages to dethrone Kylian Mbappe, who was the cover star for FIFA 23 – which was the last of such editions.
The Man City forward also got to play the first FC 24 match against Brazilian content creator Receba, which he reportedly won 7-2 as well! All the eyes were on the Norwegian superstar in the event and he managed to go viral for his unique choice of attire.

Haaland arrived at the ceremony wearing a set of green designer pyjamas – being the only person in the whole show to wear something like that. It seems like the Norwegian forward just wanted to be comfortable for the event and wore a rather eye-catching outfit to ensure everybody would remember his appearance.
This isn’t the first time he wore pyjamas to an event either. He turned up to a celebratory dinner after City’s Champions League win wearing an all-blue pyjamas and taking over their kitchen to cook up some food for his teammates.
Jack Grealish matches Erling Haaland with unique comfies
But it doesn’t look like Haaland is the only City player trying their best to promote this fashion trend and normalize the prospect of wearing pyjamas to prestigious events. Like the Norwegian, Jack Grealish was recently also spotted wearing black pyjamas at a party.
The party animal decided to wear something really comfortable, an all-black pyjamas outfit with white sneakers as he continued his partying in Ibiza. The two City forwards have a few more days to have fun and party around before they’ll be asked to return to the Cityzens pre-season campaign.
Man City will kick off their 2023/24 campaign against Arsenal in the Community Shield clash that takes place on August 7. Pep Guardiola will have to work overtime to get the likes of Grealish and Haaland up to speed and attain peak fitness levels for them to feature properly in that game.
Now that they’ve done promoting their fashion trend in events, the duo will be asked to do what they do best – thrill the fans with their exciting styles and combine for a lot of goals in the 23/24 season.
