Rare Photo of Leny Yoro With His Hair Down Drops Online

Football Fashion, Leny Yoro, Manchester United

Manchester United fans were treated to a rare sight as the teenage sensation Leny Yoro was spotted in training with a rather surprising hairstyle. Manchester United fans have grown accustomed to Leno Yoro with braided hair because this has been his trademark hairstyle since joining the club last year.

However, he shocked the fans when he arrived for training with a new look.

The French international joined Manchester United from Lille last year for a fee believed to be around €62 million. Since his debut, the defender wasted no time settling in and looking like the second coming of a young Raphael Varane.

In fact, the 19-year-old French center back has been one of the standout players in the Manchester United squad anytime he has played. Yoro has been a breath of fresh air in an otherwise disastrous spell under manager Ruben Amorim.

Despite being a fashionable bloke, if there’s one thing that has remained constant with Leny Yoro over the years, then that is his tried and tested hairstyle. He is always seen sporting the braids.

The fans have gotten so used to seeing him in braids that they had to do a double take when his new training pics dropped on the internet.

Leny Yoro looked unrecognizable when he joined the training with his hair down.

The new hairstyle is Yoro’s third unique hairstyle after he previously sported a classic fade with natural curls on top when he was breaking out at Lille.

In his second season as a senior player, he started growing out his hair and switched to braids, which he then brought with him to Manchester United.

Yoro and the rest of the squad were all smiles as the players assembled for training before the weekend clash against Nottingham Forest.

Thanks to the recent turn in form and a run of wins, not just the players but the fans have been in a great mood as well. Yoro’s new look has gone down well with the fans, with some comparing it to the popular Manchester United fan who refused to get a trim until the team wins 5 games in a row.

Meanwhile others were remembering a former Red Devil who used to sport a similar hairstyle.

Is that you Hannibal?

Over the years, we’ve seen players like Hannibal, David Luiz, Fellaini, Guendouzi, and Benoît Assou-Ekotto let their hair down. While this is a popular hairstyle in the fashion industry, most footballers prefer keeping short hair, likely due to the physical nature of the sport and the pushing-pulling involved.

This is why it is always a welcome sight when a player lets their hair down. Over the years, we’ve seen footballers like Leighton Baines rocking long hair, Van Dijk letting his hair down, and even Haaland taking the internet by storm with his lucious locks while the game is still going on.

What do you think of Yoro’s hairstyle? Should he keep his hair down or do you prefer him with braids? Let us know in the comments section.
