The 25/26 season for Liverpool has not been up to expectations. The team is 5th in the standings of the Premier League.
The fans looked at retaining the title this season, but things didn’t go as planned.
Trailing by 2 goals against PSG in the Champions League, it’s highly predictable that their journey might come to an end.
The departure of their key players, like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luiz Diaz, and Darwin Núñez, showed the key roles they played in the team.
The poor performances of Salah and his conflict with the management even made things worse.
All things taken into consideration, the fans will be desperately looking towards the 26/27 season.
They will be hoping that the tactics will be working, players’ roles will be defined, and Anfield will rejoice again.
We already have a glimpse of Liverpool’s home kit for the 26/27 season, which was leaked.
The work of Adidas with their lead designer Jürgen Rank has impressed the fans already.
The jersey comes with a background of Active Maroon colour.
The most attractive part of the jersey is the classic pattern, which resembles the 1989-91 home kit, giving a nostalgic hit for the fans.
A vibrant maroon base layered with sharp white streaks and triangular shapes gives a fast, energetic effect across the jersey.
Italian domestic appliance manufacturer Candy was adorned on the front then, with a similar design potentially set to be used in the 2026/27 campaign.
Adidas, having a 10-year partnership with the club, has never disappointed, with sales up by 700 percent. It looks like adidas is doing its job.
The fans are really excited for the kit, already giving their opinions on X.
Most of them are really happy with the designs of Adidas, as the German company has lived up to the expectations of the folks.

But many fans have shown their disappointment by saying the “neck is a disgrace” and the jersey seems to be “messy,”.
Some of them even noticed every detail of the jersey and said: “not into the 3 stripes being that thick”.
Although there has been criticism for the kit, for most of the fans, it’s a “banger and many said it’s a “blast from the past,” and by the look of the jersey, many fans have already announced team comeback.
Liverpool fans hope that the next season will be as good as their jersey, as they would love to see their club back and fighting for the title race. For now, they will aim to make a comeback against the French Giants.
