Leo Messi’s father and agent Jorge Messi arrived in Barcelona today to hold talks with president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

According to Catalunya-based RAC, a meeting between Jorge Messi and Bartomeu will be held this afternoon.

They will face each other to resolve the problems between Leo Messi and the club.

Jorge Messi was hounded by a local journo in the airport and said it will be ‘difficult’ for his son to remain at Barcelona.

In light of the ongoing tension between Lionel Messi and the Barcelona board, the Argentine superstar is rumored to have agreed to personal terms with Manchester City in a deal worth €700m over five years.

Three years in Manchester before moving to MLS side New York City FC.
