Kylian Mbappe has had a dream start to the Qatar World Cup and is already staking his claim for the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards.
He’s already the joint-highest scorer in the competition, having scored 3 goals in France’s first two opening games against Australia and Denmark.
There is added pressure on the 23-year-old’s shoulders to be the de-facto leader for his side in the absence of Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema, who has been ruled out of the tournament because of an injury.
Despite having so many weight of expectations of him, the Frenchman is still going strong and thriving under the pressure.
Mbappe wants to script his name in the history books and join a rare club of footballers to have won back-to-back editions of the World Cup by winning the competition once again this time around.
Due to his brilliant performances, the 23-year-old is becoming more popular with each passing day and gaining significant admiration among fans from all over.
After his Man of the Match winning display against Denmark, the team he managed to drown after scoring a match-winning brace on Saturday, Mbappe was visited by a VIP fan.
It was none other than Ivanka Trump – the daughter of the former President of the United States of America Donald Trump – who came to have a little chat with him after the game.

She was accompanied by her husband Jared Kushner and their three children as well. Ivanka, who is a controversial figure in the USA because of her radical beliefs, seems to have visited Qatar for the World Cup. She also appears to be a fan of Mbappe and his heroics on the pitch.
Mbappe took some time to have a chat with Ivanka Trump and her family after the game and even posed for a picture with everyone. He even took some time to talk to the children, who really admire his ability and performances for France.

Ivanka appreciated him for taking the time to interact with them and give her children something to remember him by signing their jerseys.

It’s still not known whether Mbappe is acquaintances with the Trump family or not, but doesn’t appear to be totally against what they stand for either.
Kylian’s political alignments are still not known that well, but he is known to have a pretty good relationship with Emmanuel Macron – the French president.
In fact, it was Macron himself who played a major role in convincing him to reject Real Madrid and stay a little bit longer at PSG – as he considers the 23-year-old to be a big role model for the young children in France.
Mbappe has received criticism from some fans for interacting with Trump and her family because of their history of controversies.
However, he’s quite used to being slandered and abused after incurring the wrath of millions of Real Madrid fans for ‘betraying them’ by staying at PSG this summer.
Mbappe’s only objective, for now, is to take France afar in the World Cup, score many more goals and lift the gorgeous golden trophy aloft once again on December 18.
