Inside the 9 Million-Dollar Miami Haven of Soccer Legend Lionel Messi

As Messi mania continue to grip Miami, the Argentinian star is slowly settling down to his new life in America and there is plenty of interest among the football fans and aficionados as to where he lives.

In a huge boost to the Major League Soccer (MLS) and American football, the Argentinian talisman had made a big-bucks mega move to David Beckham’s Miami club after he became a free agent after his contract with Qatar-owned Paris Saint-Germain had ended.

The 36-year-old was officially unveiled at function in front of a near capacity stadium at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Though the function got inordinately delayed due to a heavy downpour  followed by lighting, fans braved the rain to give a red-carpet welcome to their

Messi was handed his trademark No.10 jersey by England legend David Beckham, who is one of the team’s co-owners.

Even before the blockbuster unveiling of the Argentinian superstar, Messi Mania had hit Miami and US soccer after the 36-year-old was seen at a Publix supermarket, buying groceries.

Luxurious lifestyle

And as he went on a shopping spree, where he obliged a few fans with photos, people have become curious to know as to where Messi is going to stay in Miami and also about his luxurious lifestyle.

One reason why Messi opted to play in MLS and Inter Miami despite rejecting many lucrative offers from Saudia Arabia and other European clubs is because of the life style in Miami, which has a striking similarity with that in Argentina.

And of course, there are many who can speak Spanish, which Messi is comfortable with and gang ell well into a city known for its Latin population and culture.

The grapevine is that Messi, his celebrity wife Antonela and his three kids are residing in a plush 9 million-dollar apartment near the Golden Beach in Florida.

The apartment is said to be located in a waterfront building called the Regalia. And the paraphernalia at the apartment include a champagne bar, wine cellar, spa, six swimming pools, fitness centre, yoga room and children’s playhouse.

Messi’s luxury apartment in Florida has four bedrooms and six bathrooms and has a terrace area of approximately 195 square metres!

Choosy about house

Messi is said to be very choosy when it comes to his private life and the place where he stays.

In 2021, when he came to play in Copa America in Miami, the Argentinian reportedly rented a five-bedroom waterfront mansion on Key Biscayne.

Back in 2019, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner bought a luxurious apartment in the Porsche Design Tower, located near the Sunny Isles Beach. But he later sold that property.

But this time Messi and family have preferred the safety and secureness of a luxury apartment itself, considering the fact that it is going to be a prolonged stay in America and not a cameo one like the Copa America adventure.

For the records, Messi is expected to make his MLS debut for Inter Miami in the match against Mexican side Cruz Azul at the DRV PNK Stadium on July 18.
