Tottenham old boy Michel Vorm opens new business which aims to provide full ‘men experience’

Gone are the days of standing between the two posts and being the last man in defence for Michel Vorm.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City goalkeeper now operates a new barbershop which aims to provide its client with the full ‘men experience’.

After being released by Spurs in July, the Dutch international brought an end to his 15-year career when he announced his retirement last month.

According to Dutch media giants NOS, the 37-year-old is settling into life after football by opening a styling salon for men in his hometown of Utrecht.

Besides serving as a beauty salon for men, the establishment also consists of a sports cafe area complete with TV screens and other amenities like foosball tables.

Despite taking a break from football, Vorm still keep tabs on his old club Tottenham Hotspur and revealed manager Jose Mourinho is the right man to take the club forward –

Five or six years ago you couldn’t have imagined that he would become a Tottenham coach.

Now you can see his style more clearly at Tottenham. Now you can start judging him a bit more. Mourinho really insists on winning a prize. I get along very well with him.

Look, people also have a certain image of Louis van Gaal. I also worked very well with him with the Dutch national team. I also think Van Gaal is a nice man and I see similarities with Mourinho. Of course I had a certain image of him.

But when you work with him, it is different. I like a clear way of communicating and Mourinho is very direct. Take it or leave it.
