Sergio Aguero will leave Manchester City at the end of the season after spending 10 years at the club. As all good things must come to an end, so would Aguero’s time at the club as his contract runs out at the end of July.
The Argentine joined Manchester City back in 2011 and will leave the club as their most prolific goalscorer with 257 goals to his name.
It is truly an end to an era as current and former City players joined hordes of football fans in paying tribute to one of the best strikers of his generation.
A city legend for ever 💙 pic.twitter.com/buAV29lEAj

Fully deserved 👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/Y6OP0fNM3Q
I’m heartbroken that Aguero will be leaving us at the end of the season. It even feels weird to say it. We need to challenge in the Champions League this season. We owe him that.

One of the best strikers we’ll ever see in the prem. Thank you for everything Sergio 💙 pic.twitter.com/0T0Atdi7Z6
Aguero provided some of the most horrible moments for me as Man Utd fan 😅 but good god, he was absolutely incredible, one of the best strikers the Premier League has ever seen, that performance in the 6-0 game against Chelsea is a standout for me.

The best player of the PL in the last decade Eden Hazard left. The best playmakers of the PL in the last decade in Ozil, Fabregas and Silva left. Now the best striker in the last decade of the PL Aguero is leaving

Truly an end to one entertaining era..
The most famous Premier League goal ever scored
When you are talking about Sergio Aguero, you cannot miss out on his iconic moment in 2011/12 when he scored a last-minute winner in the final game of the season (against QPR) to win Man City their first title in 44 years.
THAT goal from Aguero is going to be everywhere for the next week…

The stats don’t lie
Sergio Aguero, at his peak, had six straight seasons of 28+ goals in all competitions. The previous player to do that in England was Jimmy Greaves.

Sergio Aguero has scored as many PL hat-tricks as Cristiano Ronaldo, Eric Cantona, Dennis Bergkamp, Daniel Sturridge, Jurgen Klinsmann, Gianluca Vialli, Louis Saha, Gareth Bale, Roberto Firmino, Samuel Eto'o, Stan Collymore & Olivier Giroud combined

What lies next for Sergio? Is a link-up with Messi on the cards?
Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero have assisted each other a total of 15 times during their time with the Argentina national team.

Imagine this duo together. 🔥 pic.twitter.com/0VnNLMNAkz
Dear Segio Kun Aguero.
— Morris (@KDBseason) March 29, 2021
Please go to Barca, go statpad a few goals. Messi is the only player that can assist you as good as KDB. Go rack up that goal per 90 ratio and win some more trophies. Have fun during the last years of your career and go ball with your best mate.
Love you pic.twitter.com/UkxC1TswWc
