Serge Gnabry gets Arsenal fans excited by rocking a retro JVC kit

Every major club has that one Incredibly talented player who just ‘got away’

For Chelsea it could be Kevin De Bruyne, for Real Madrid it could be Samuel Eto, and for Arsenal, aside from Harry Kane, the ‘one’ could be Serge Gnabry

The German spent 3 years at the London club, before departing in 2016, in search of regular game time.

And he found that at the mighty Bavarians aka Bayern Munich, and his stint in Germany so far has seen him earn multiple European and domestic honours.

The transition has moulded the 26-year-old into a world-class footballer, and a highly sought after one too.

With his contract expiring in 2023 and reports of no agreements between the player and club, transfer suspicion has been rising, and some have even hinted towards a reunion with the Gunners.

Indeed, it does seem like Gnabry is on Arsenal’s radar, and his recent photoshoot sent Gooners into a frenzy.

The excitement came after Gnabry posted a series of pictures in vintage jerseys on his Twitter account.

In the pictures, he can be seen sporting vintage shirts of Bayern Munich, the German National Team, and Arsenal.

The German specifically donned the iconic 1993/94 season retro Jersey by Adidas, featuring vintage sponsor JVC.

Gooners, naturally, went gaga and expressed their desires of seeing the German in the Arsenal Red once again.

While it is unlikely that Gnabry was implying anything with the picture, the German, back in 2019, reinstated in this video, that he will remain “always a Gunner”.’

The transfer links might amount to nothing in the end, nevertheless, there is no doubt that Gnabry would fit in perfectly with Mikel Arteta’s free-flowing Arsenal side.
