The 6 Premier League Footballers Joining Skechers Besides Harry Kane

The 6 Premier League Footballers Joining Skechers Besides Harry Kane

England captain Harry Kane is set to embark on a new journey in his footballing career. The 30-year-old made the switch to Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich as he looks to get his hands on his first piece of silverware after going through his career at his lifetime club Tottenham Hotspur without a trophy.

However, it’s not the only switch he has made. He was spotted wearing a mystery blackout boot at Spurs in pre-season last month leading to a lot of speculation. It wasn’t the topic of too much discussion as fans were looking forward to his much-anticipated move to Bayern Munich.

But now that the move is complete the veil over that mystery has been lifted. The mystery boot was a Skechers SKX_01 boot and he will be wearing the unmasked version of the boot when Bayern Munich come up against Werder Bremen. Apart from the black-out boot, Kane was also spotted wearing a white-out version.

Skechers have a plan

However, Kane is not the only player wearing these boats. Skechers are quietly growing their roster with other players such as Fulham trio Tom Cairney, Bobby de Cordova Reid and Harrison Reed, Luton Town duo Tom Lockyer and Carlton Morris along with Crystal Palace man Jeffrey Schlupp.

Skechers make their debut in football

The SKX_01 comes in a low-collar cut and also a high-collar cut and will be out in a Blue/Green colourway which is included in the Prime Pack. The boots have been designed for precision in ball control with professional players in mind. The boot has been made in custom-made last to optimise comfort.

The upper portion is a combination of quality knit and skin materials which adjusts to the shape of the foot ensuring breathability. The thoughtfully positioned skin panels lend durability and give protection wherever necessary.

A unique mix of both micro and macro textures is placed on the upper. The micro-textured area gives a good grip for passing and dribbling ensuring better ball control and touch. The macro-textured zones provide better grip and power while shooting the ball.

Furthermore, the boot comes with the Hyper-burst Pro sicklier which is a staple of the brand. It is a responsive and lightweight TPU cushioning which is both resilient and durable and adapts to the foot shape to provide better comfort.

As far as football boots are concerned, Skechers are newbies. But they have announced their arrival in football in a great and stealthy way.
