Ligue 1 (French league) is on a long three week holiday now for the Christmas season. Which means some players too have been given ample time to go enjoy their vacations with loved ones without any restrictions or work stress.
After enjoying his birthday treat in the match against Metz by scoring a brace and having his younger brother join the senior squad, Kylian Mbappe has taken the much needed vacations too before he has to report for the next PSG match.
After their last match on 21st December, PSG’s next assignment is to compete in the Finals of Trophée des Champions, which is the annual competition among the League 1 champions and the winners of Coupe de France, on 3rd of January.
What this means for Kylian is that he has 2 weeks worth of free time that he could choose to spend however he likes and choose he did.
On his official Instagram, Kylian has posted a few pics of him with his entourage.

In the pictures he can be seen with his brother Ethan Mbappe, his dad Wilfrid Mbappe and his best friend Brice Tchaga, a celebrity barber by profession. They seem to be enjoying their Christmas in the snowy winters somewhere north.

With 110 million followers on Instagram alone, a few of the internet detectives on spot have judged the wintery heaven to be Finnish land. Adoring the pictures of the family enjoying their holidays, fans had double tapped the post around 3.5 million times in less than 18 hours.
His brother Ethan, who turns 17 this week, seems to be enjoying this outing too with an outside jacuzzi being his favorite. Ethan has shared his brother’s post from his own Instagram handle in his status update too.
Brice Tchaga, has been a long time friend of Kylian Mbappe and has been seen beside him frequently. The Parisian hairdresser met Kylian for the first time in 2017 during his AS Monaco team hairdressing assignment.
He was late to the work appointment and only Kylian was found waiting for him. That was the start of their friendship. Their brotherly bond is quite apparent as Tchaga is involved in almost every family appearance including this one.

Kylian’s dad Wilfried Mbappe is who we have to thank, for having introduced to the world such talent. Wilfried, originally from Cameroon, was a French footballer too and has acted as a coach for plenty of French clubs.
It was during his AS Bondy youth club coaching days that he mentored his son Kylian. The rest is history. Wilfried also has experience as an agent/manager and is integral to all the decision of his son’s life. They are very close to each other and are very much involved in each other’s life.
Kylian’s contract at PSG is running out this upcoming summer and what that entails is a long and hard January window for the player with negotiations and matches aplenty. This vacation is a much needed rest before the storm.
The Mbappe family is currently in Lapland, a great place for snow travellers in Finland, which has become the go to place for celebrities to experience pure snow landscape with igloos, ice saunas, snow hotels etc.
What makes this place even more attractive for celebrities is the fact that it is one of the few places left in Europe where you can travel without being bothered by paparazzies.
The fact that we came to know about this vacation from the player himself instead of a random paparazzi photograph on some tabloid website, kind of proves the point.
We hope that Kylian enjoys his holidays and comes back with rejuvenated vigor to entertain us with his skills on the field.
